[From urban void to temporary public space]
Building the Void has become an outreach program of the School of Architecture and Urbanism of Tucuman, Argentina.

Today, many cities lack meeting spaces. Faced with this need, the limitations are not related to the generation of the available space, but rather to the failure of both the the public and the government to perceive the vacant lot's potential with which we are living daily.

Turning emptiness into an opportunity for a built city.
The purpose of this proposal is to develop experiences that improve the urban landscape by harnessing the potential of the vacant lot to transform our city through its activation as a TEMPORARY public space.
It is a tactical way of intervening in the city to transform, improve, or redefine spaces, including time as a variable and the real needs of people, everyday urbanism. The projects may disappear, but the spaces will never be the same.
Discover the Invisible was the first temporary urban intervention.
