aUPA Space #02

Juan XXIII Neighborhood

One day Pop-up intervention deploying a series of playful elements, made with discarded material.

Activity carried out within aUPA Project framework.

August /2.017

Facilitate and enhance child rearing beyond the domestic sphere and personal networks by developing a new typology of outdoor facilities designed to engage children and their caregivers in quality experiences in public spaces.

As part of the "Children's Day" celebrations, we participated in an event in Juan XXIII Neighborhood, organized by the Early Childhood “Primeros Años” Program.

Pop-up intervention transforming an urban void instantly into a play space.

We are looking to develop proposals that allow us to transform the City we have into the city we want. Promoting and making visible all those common spaces that in many cases remain to be done.

This project is supported by three pillars:

01_The Temporary-Use approach for Urban Voids as public space

02_The DIY Parenting friendly Pop-Up Urban Furniture production [aUPA Kits]

03_The Parenting supporting networks generation
